    Rev. Brandon Gallaher

    Associate Professor of Systematic Theology at the University of Exeter

    Brandon Gallaher is Associate Professor of Systematic Theology at the University of Exeter (Devon, UK). He is the author of Freedom and Necessity in Modern Trinitarian Theology (Oxford: Oxford University Press)[with Paul Ladouceur] The Patristic Witness of Georges Florovsky: Essential Writings (London: T & T Clark/Bloomsbury, 2019) and [with John Chryssavgis] The Living Christ: The Theological Legacy of Georges Florovsky (London: T & T Clark/Bloomsbury, 2021). He served at the Holy and Great Council of Crete as a Theological Subject Expert in the Ecumenical Patriarchate Press Office (2016), was part of the drafting committee of For the Life of the World: Towards a Social Ethos of the Orthodox Church (2020) and was one of the primary drafters of ‘A Declaration on the “Russian World” (Russkii Mir) Teaching’ He is currently working on books on Orthodoxy and world religions and Sergii Bulgakov. He serves as a priest of the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain (Ecumenical Patriarchate).
