• Joseph L. Clarke

    Associate Professor of Art History at the University of Toronto

    Joseph L. Clarke is an associate profession in the Department of Art History at the University of Toronto. He holds a PhD from Yale University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati. Before becoming an art historian, he was trained as a designer and practiced architecture at Eisenman Architects and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. He is the author of Echo’s Chambers: Architecture and the Idea of Acoustic Space (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2021).

    Additionally, he serves on the editorial board of The Wheel Journal.
