    Lecturer in Philosophy and Director of Research at St. Cyril's Coptic Orthodox Theological College






    Dr. Samuel Kaldas is the Director of Research & Community Engagement at St. Cyril's Coptic Orthodox Theological College within the Sydney College of Divinity. He holds a BA (Honors) in Philosophy and a PhD in Early Modern Philosophy of Religion from the University of Sydney, and a Graduate Certificate in Orthodox Theology from SAGOTC. As a Coptic Fellow at Fordham's Orthodox Christian Studies Center, he wrote on the development of Coptic eucharistic theology. His research interests include philosophy of religion, patristics, and Coptic Orthodox theology. Dr. Kaldas' notable publications include The Cambridge Platonists and Early Modern Philosophy and articles on Orthodox Christian perspectives, patristic thought, and experiential theology.
